Purpose of the Sustainability Panel

The Sustainability Panel is a new panel being established following the recommendations in the Bichard RICS Review report published in June 2022.

The main purpose of the Panel is to advise RICS Governing Council, RICS Board, Standards and Regulation Board (SRB) and other RICS governance bodies on climate change and sustainable practices and support RICS to take a lead in steering the built and natural environment towards decarbonisation and sustainable placement and mitigating negative environmental impact.

Current Vacancies

We are currently recruiting for the following positions for this panel:

Panel Chair

We are now looking for a qualified RICS member with substantial experience at Board/Committee level with chairing skills and extensive knowledge relating to climate change and sustainability to join our Sustainability Panel as non-executive Chair.
