Room to breathe – creating equality of green spaces in towns and cities

Join this webinar on 11/11/2021 at 16:00-17:00 GMT / 11:00-12:00 EST / 08:00-9:00 PST to discuss how green spaces can be improved for the benefit of everyone.

11 November 2021

Green spaces provide a welcome oasis to the built-up areas of our towns and cities, promoting physical health and wellbeing and helping reduce the urban heat island effect. Yet easy access to good quality green space is not always equal. Often deprived neighbourhoods suffer disproportionately from limited access. Moreover, the quality of such local spaces is likely to be lower than more affluent areas. How can this imbalance be redressed and green spaces improved for the benefit of everyone?
