RICS Awards, Southeast Asia winners

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has today announced thirteen teams that are being celebrated for their contribution to shaping the future of Southeast Asia.

The sector’s leading teams and companies entered the annual competition – which recognise industry leading achievements and demonstrate the upholding of the highest standards of professionalism and ethics across the built and natural environments – to compete for one of the thirteen prestigious titles in this year’s ceremony.

This year’s entrants have been responsible for some of the biggest projects Southeast Asia has seen to date – including delivering for clients during COVID, fostering better workplaces for occupants, creating diverse workplaces, boosting the sustainability of projects through the use of technology and working to fight against the impacts of climate change.  

After careful consideration by a team of expert judges, the winners are:

  • Agency Team of the Year – CBRE Singapore
  • Construction Team of the Year – Team PG17 - Tiong Seng Contractors (Pte) Ltd
  • Facilities Management Team of the Year – C&W Dormitory & GQF Management Team, Singapore
  • Project Management & Building Consultancy Team of the Year – JLL Project & Development Services, Southeast Asia
  • Property Management Team of the Year – JLL Property & Asset Management, Southeast Asia
  • Quantity Surveying Team of the Year – Arcadis Singapore
  • Valuation Team of the Year – Jones Lang Wootton, Malaysia
  • Innovation Award – DB Schenker Singapore & Hiverlab, Singapore
  • Sustainability Award – Sustainability and Resilience Office, Surbana Jurong, Singapore
  • Property Professional of the Year – Johnny Goh Jock Suan FRICS, IHH Healthcare Singapore
  • Young Achiever of the Year – Daryl Ho, JLL Singapore
  • Woman of the Built Environment Award – Eugenie Lip FRICS, AECOM, Singapore
  • Lifetime Achievement Award – Billy Wong FRICS, AECOM, Singapore

There were also a number of highly commended individuals and teams who judges felt deserved special recognition. These are:

  • Sustainability Award – JLL Energy & Sustainability Services, Southeast Asia
  • Construction Professional of the Year – Yeoh Cheng Yow, Jake – Z L Construction, Singapore
  • Innovation Award – Team Lean Innovation – Tiong Seng Contractors (Pte) Ltd, Singapore
  • Young Achiever of the Year – Nathaniel Soh En Zhi – Surbana Jurong, Singapore
  • Young Achiever of the Year – Shawn Chang – Colliers, Singapore
  • Young Achiever of the Year - Sr Gokulakumar Bala Krishnan MRICS – Arcadis Malaysia
