This is an exciting opportunity to become part of RICS’ global ambassadorial team working closely alongside fellow leaders of the profession and the Chief Executive. You would help shape and promote our profession’s positive social impact as we address key built and natural environment issues. As RICS evolves to enhance professionalism, champion the profession’s contribution and support its resilience through a period of great change, the Senior Vice President will be an important ambassador within the Presidential team, inspiring the profession and future generations on our public interest purpose.

More about the role
The role of Senior Vice President is a one-year role and officially starts in November 2022. It is three-year commitment, with the individual going on to serve as President-Elect, followed by Global President of RICS 2024-25. The Senior Vice President role is not remunerated (expenses will be covered), but successful progression to the roles of President-Elect and Global President are remunerated.
An application pack will be issued to interested parties once applications open in February 2022.
Applications will be reviewed by the Presidential Nominations Committee and shortlisted candidates will be advised of next steps in the appointment process. The Senior Vice President will be appointed during the Governing Council meeting in mid-2022.
