RICS Annual General Meeting 2021

This year’s AGM will take place in person and online, on Wednesday 1 December 2021 at 1400 GMT.

This year’s AGM will take place in person and online, on Wednesday 1 December 2021 at 1400 GMT.

All Fellows (FRICS) Professional Members (MRICS) and Associates (AssocRICS) are able to attend the AGM remotely and to vote. Student members and Honorary members (HonRICS) are able to attend but are not able to vote. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to hear from the Interim Chair of Governing Council and Interim CEO who will give their report on RICS corporate performance for the year 2020/21. 

The other agenda items will be to receive an update on Financial Performance for the period ending 31 July 2021, to receive the Financial Statements for the period ending 31 July 2020 (including the Professional Auditor’s report), to appoint the Professional Auditor until the next AGM and to note the composition of Governing Council for Session 2021/2022.

Members will have the opportunity to vote to appoint the Professional Auditor. Voting will be by via a secure voting link.

At the conclusion of the AGM, RICS President Clement Lau FRICS will be presented with the Presidential chain.

The agenda, Financial and Performance statements for 2020 and any other relevant documents will be available on the website by 30 October 2021.

Questions in advance of the AGM are welcome. They can be sent to Members will also have the opportunity to ask questions at the AGM itself, both online and in person.

The deadline for registration for the AGM is Tuesday 30 November at 1200 GMT. Please register either for attendance online or in person. Please note that in person attendance will be limited to ensure the wellbeing of our members and staff. If there are no places remaining, please register to attend online and select the waiting list option and you will be invited to attend in person should any places become available. All members will still be able to attend remotely.

A confirmation email will be sent to you upon registration, with joining instruction to be provided two weeks before the AGM. Please be advised that COVID safety measures will be in place at RICS Head Office and these will be advised in the confirmation email.
