RICS is pleased to announce its upcoming, three-day remote thought leadership event on the future of the built environment: A New Era for Construction & Infrastructure—Integrating tech, data, and ESG from January 26-28, 2021. The event, which runs from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM each day, will discuss the great expectations the construction and infrastructure sector has right now to build smarter and leverage technology in the post-pandemic recovery, addressing high-stakes social, environmental and economic challenges.
Particularly with data management, professionals are benchmarking lifecycle costs, carbon and social value while driving operational efficiencies—and the three-day slate of panels will cover technology integration for industry transformation, data-enriched projects and assets, and environment and sustainability. Key topics will include BIM, AI, and automation on job sites, cost management, and carbon benchmarking for operational efficiencies, leveraging data for virtual design and construction, and how ESG strategies are being implemented.
