Join the UAE Market Advisory Panel and be part of the change and our new ways of working

Applications are invited from all RICS professionals who are interested in joining the RICS UAE Market Advisory Panel (MAP). Enthusiastic candidates should also have an affinity with one or more of our thought leadership themes: Sustainability, Data and Technology, Place and Space, Diversity & Inclusion.

We are welcoming all applications but the MAP would be particularly interested in those from Property Management, Facilities Management and Valuation backgrounds, to ensure that the MAP continues to be balanced and representative of a range of pathways.

The Role

The role of the RICS UAE MAP is to assist in the implementation of local activity plan(s) which form part of the RICS MEA Business Plan. The panel will contribute to the promotion of growth in market recognition of RICS standards, provide regional market insight and intelligence to inform overall strategy, enhance the recognition and profile of RICS throughout the UAE, as well as promote local member engagement within the region.

Time commitment

Meetings are usually held quarterly, and the maximum number of days’ time commitment expected of MAP members is six per year. Meetings are typically held at the RICS offices in Al Sufouh, Dubai at 4pm-6pm.

Non-executive members drawn from the RICS membership are not remunerated at present. All non-executive members will be reimbursed for expenses incurred in the performance of his/her duties in accordance with the RICS Expenses Policy.
