The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. They recognise outstanding achievement, teamwork and companies.
The 2022 RICS Awards New Zealand bestow both local and global recognition. They recognise industry leading achievements and demonstrate the upholding of the highest standards of professionalism and ethics by individuals and teams across the built and natural environments.
We invite individuals, teams and organisations to nominate their achievements, professionalism and ethics to the world stage and showcase the best of the built environment from New Zealand.
All shortlisted nominations will be promoted across the APAC region and winners will be showcased as the top performers in New Zealand via the extensive RICS network and wider platforms.
In 2021 the winner’s announcement videos received over 30,000 views on LinkedIn across the NZ Awards programme, so be sure to submit your nominations in 2022 to share your story and achievements with the industry.

Shortlisted candidates will be announced in August 2022.
The winners will be revealed via video announcement on LinkedIn during the Awards Winners Announcements Week from 26 - 30 September 2022.
Following the announcements week, we are hopeful that we might be able to hold a celebratory in-person function to get together, catch-up and congratulate the winners and finalists locally. Details of this will be released closer to and will be dependent upon circumstances within the region at the time.

This award recognises excellence in the geomatics and land surveying including GIS and BIM applications. The rapidly evolving technology in this sector is merging computer science, GIS and more traditional surveying and mapping. |

Project Management Team of the Year |
Acknowledging companies, teams, in-house teams, the service provider, contractors or an owner/client who were engaged in project management of a construction project during 2021. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellence in such areas as planning, quality control, time management, environmental outcomes, budget control, customer experience, procurement and commercial management to deliver superior outcomes for the client and built environment. |

Real Estate Agency Team of the Year |
This award acknowledges companies, teams and/or consortia demonstrating excellence in providing agency services related to the acquisition, sale, or leasing of properties in the office, retail, industrial or residential sectors. |

Lifetime Achievement Award |
Recognising commitment to RICS and the wider profession, the Lifetime Achievement Award is the most prestigious award for built environment professionals. |
The presentation of this award is subject to the determination of a panel that the recipient is worthy of this significant honour. |

Young Achiever of the Year Award
In addition to the individual award criteria, the Young Achiever of the Year must have been born on or after 1 January 1986 (i.e. be aged 35 or under during the 2021 calendar year) to be eligible.
