The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. They recognise outstanding achievement, teamwork and companies.
The 2022 RICS Awards Southeast Asia bestow both local and global recognition. They recognise industry leading achievements and demonstrate the upholding of the highest standards of professionalism and ethics by individuals and teams across the built and natural environments.
We invite individuals, teams and organisations to nominate their achievements, professionalism and ethics to the world stage and showcase the best of the built environment from Southeast Asia.
All shortlisted nominations will be promoted across the APAC region and winners will be showcased as the top performers in Southeast Asia via the extensive RICS network and wider platforms.
In 2021 the winner’s announcement videos received over 15,000 views on LinkedIn across the SEA Awards programme, so be sure to submit your nominations in 2022 to share your story and achievements with the industry.

Shortlisted candidates will be announced in August 2022.
The winners will be revealed via video announcement on LinkedIn during the Awards Winners Announcements Week from 10 - 14 October 2022.
Following the announcements week, we are hopeful that we might be able to hold a celebratory in-person function to get together, catch-up and congratulate the winners and finalists locally. Details of this will be released closer to and will be dependent upon circumstances within the region at the time.

This award acknowledges companies, teams and/or consortia demonstrating excellence in providing agency services related to the acquisition, sale, or leasing of properties in the office, retail, industrial or residential sectors. |

Facilities Management Team of the Year |
Awarded to a company, team or consortia responsible for outstanding facilities management, the award recognises the provision of services to end-users. |

Project Management & Building Consultancy Team of the Year |
Focusing on excellence in the project management and building consultancy industry, the Project Management & Building Consultancy Team of the Year award recognises teams who have undertaken a significant project(s) including but not limited to building surveying, technical due diligence, makegood, project management, etc. |

Property Management Team of the Year |
Awarded to a company, team or consortia responsible for outstanding tenant relationship management, financial management and asset management. |

Quantity Surveying Team of the Year |
Celebrating the success of quantity surveyors, this award recognises teams engaged in outstanding quantity surveying projects including but not limited to cost planning, tax depreciation, and contract management. |

Valuation Team of the Year |
This award recognises teams involved in valuation services which uphold international standards and give confidence to end-users for their objectivity, independence and reliability on both commercial and/or residential projects. |

Innovation Award |
Future proofing the profession is a key challenge in a time of rapid technological changes. This award recognises teams engaged in developing innovative solutions to sustain the profession for the future. |

Construction Professional of the Year |
Presented to an outstanding individual for excellence in quantity surveying, project management, land or building surveying or building control. The Construction Professional of the Year award recognises achievement in construction projects during 2021. The successful candidate will demonstrate how their work has combined the highest professional, ethical and industry standards to deliver superior results and outcomes for clients and stakeholders. |

Property Professional of the Year |
Presented to an outstanding individual involved in valuation, property management, facilities management, valuation or acquiring/selling or leasing a commercial, industrial or retail property. The Property Professional of the Year award recognises achievement in property projects during 2021. The selected professional will represent the highest professional ethics, demonstrate their use of standards in their day to day activities and embody the excellence expected of the recipient of such a prestigious award. |

Women of the Built Environment Award |
The woman of the built environment award recognises the outstanding contributions and achievements of senior women to our industry. The award celebrates inspirational role models to inspire the next generation of diverse professionals. Women from all disciplines of the industry are encouraged to enter.

Young Achiever of the Year |
The future of our profession rests on the shoulders of emerging professionals. The Young Achiever of the Year Award acknowledges one outstanding individual who has achieved excellence in their chosen field. The individual selected will embody the highest standards of professionalism, be a role-model for their peers and be capable of making an outstanding contribution to the profession in the course of their future career. The individual must be 35 years old or younger during the 2021 calendar year (i.e. he/she must be born on or after 1 January 1986). |

Lifetime Achiever Award |
Recognising commitment to RICS and the wider profession, the Lifetime Achievement Award is the most prestigious award for built environment professionals. |
The presentation of this award is subject to the determination of a panel that the recipient is worthy of this significant honour. |
