Supporting, networking and developing young professionals.
RICS has a well-established younger membership: RICS Matrics. It supports new Chartered Surveyors entering the profession, and works with RICS to help shape the future of surveying.
RICS Matrics is forward-thinking in its outlook of the profession, nurturing and supportive of its professionals. Participating in RICS Matrics will enable you to expand your skillset and gain confidence amongst your own peer group.
There is something for everyone in RICS Matrics. You may simply want to come along and meet some of your fellow surveyors, seek some support through your APC, or join one of our local Matrics committees. The continued success of RICS Matrics relies on new professionals getting involved, attending events and sharing their views.
Established RICS Matrics professionals are the leaders of tomorrow after gaining experience within the organisation for several years.
With your great experience you are essential to the running of this ever-growing network and are able to share the wealth of your knowledge, influence employers and help steer younger professionals through the stages of career development.
To become more involved in the development and direction of RICS Matrics, join a local committee and gain experience in business planning, people management, communication skills and leadership. There are four local groups in Australia (NSW, QLD, VIC and WA) and a newly-established group in New Zealand (Auckland).
