The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. They recognise outstanding achievement, teamwork and companies.
The 2022 RICS Awards Southeast Asia bestow both local and global recognition. They recognise industry leading achievements and demonstrate the upholding of the highest standards of professionalism and ethics by individuals and teams across the built and natural environments.
We invite individuals, teams and organisations to nominate their achievements, professionalism and ethics to the world stage and showcase the best of the built environment from Southeast Asia.
All shortlisted nominations will be promoted across the APAC region and winners will be showcased as the top performers in Southeast Asia via the extensive RICS network and wider platforms.
In 2021 the winner’s announcement videos received over 15,000 views on LinkedIn across the SEA Awards programme, so be sure to submit your nominations in 2022 to share your story and achievements with the industry.

Executive Director, Program Cost Consultancy, Singapore, AECOM
Ho Swee Sun is the lead for Cost Management for Program, Cost, Consultancy at AECOM Cost Consulting and Project Management Singapore.
He leads a team of close to 100 professional quantity surveyors and brings over 30 years of experience to this role, working on building and civil engineering works of various types, sizes, complexities, and procurement arrangements. End market sectors covered include commercial real estate, residential, education, healthcare, infrastructure, aviation, sports, hospitality, recreational and industrial.
Swee Sun is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers.
Vice President & Head, Corporate Real Estate Services, IHH Healthcare
Recently awarded the RICS Southeast Asia 2021 Property Professional of the Year and RICS Southeast Asia 2020 Innovation award. Johnny Goh has over 20 years of accumulated experience in corporate real estate, facilities management, infrastructure renewal, sustainability, and project management. He has managed diverse portfolios spanning the corporate workplace, healthcare, hotels, residential, commercial and government facilities. Throughout his 20 years career, he has managed more than 90 commercial and mixed development buildings across Asia.
In his current role as the Vice President and Head, Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) in IHH Healthcare Singapore, Johnny leads corporate and operational functions such as Facilities Management (FM), Environmental Services (ES), Corporate Security, Biomedical Engineering (BME), Real Estate and Workplace (REW), Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Technical Services, Sustainability and Project Management to support IHH SG's broad spectrum of facilities and businesses. His strategic objectives in this role include FM digital transformation, real estate portfolio re-optimisation, workplace transformation, infrastructure renewal and strategic outsourcing for the organisation.
Johnny graduated from University College London (UCL) with a Master of Science (Merit) in Facilities and Environment Management, National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Master of Science in Building Performance and Sustainability, and RMIT University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management.
As a professional in this field, his passion lies in a myriad of areas: digital transformation, the Internet of Things, data analytics, workplace transformation, building pathology, sustainability and strategic facility management.
Johnny is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Chartered (FM) Surveyor with the RICS where he actively supports the institution's work. He is also a committee member of the WSH Council (Healthcare), and an industry mentor at Ngee Ann Polytechnic where he influences and imparts his extensive experience and knowledge to nurture future generations of Built Environment professionals.
Senior Director | Transaction Management CBRE
Evvanna Chua is a Senior Director in the CBRE Transaction Management team, managing governance and operations as well as corporate occupier client account teams. Evvanna’s extensive experience in corporate real estate has developed from years spent within client teams of IBM and Microsoft, followed by Cushman & Wakefield where she was SEA Hub Lead for Transaction Management. During this time, Evvanna has played key roles in developing and managing real estate strategies for a wide range of clients from diverse industries and sectors. Evvanna holds a Masters of Technology Management from the University of Queensland (Australia) as well as Bachelor of Building (Honors) from the National University of Singapore.
Vice President of the Asia Pacific Real Estate team at Credit Suisse
Charmaine Tso, Vice President of the Asia Pacific Real Estate team at Credit Suisse is responsible for the management of the real estate portfolio in the region. She is a veteran of 17 years in real estate asset management with a proven track record in transaction, due diligence and executing value creation strategies across various sectors and jurisdictions. She has extensive experience in repositioning, asset and operational enhancement to drive NOI and investment returns. Prior to her current role, she also worked as an asset manager for Link REIT, CLSA Capital Partners and Pacific Star Group in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Charmaine has a background in architecture and is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).
Principal at Allansoo RE Consultants
Allan Soo has a 40 year track record and a reputation for all-round property expertise, including investments, research, development planning and marketing. He set up a well-known practice, Regroup Associates in the mid 90’s, which became affiliated in 2009 with NYSE listed CBRE but which was later acquired by Savills South East Asia.
His extensive experience stretches township and commercial developments, leasing and sale transactions, including some of the largest assets in the country. He is credited with pioneering the first al fresco dining concept in a mall in Malaysia. He is regularly sought by international fashion and F & B brands for his proprietary mapping and mobile data tool which he employs to advise on retail footprints and asset portfolios.
His deep knowledge of retail has led him to advise on the sale of the equity interests in one of the country’s largest premium grocery chains to a private equity fund at a record price recently.

Sr Dainna is the Director of Basar & Harun Sdn (Malaysia) and incoming President of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia
Sr Dainna qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors UK in 1992. At RICS she was organising Chair for the RICS-RISM International Surveying Conference for Undergraduate (Malaysia) and also in the RICS Cost Prediction Standard Setting Committee. She is an Accredited Examiner for the Assessment of Professional Competence.
She was part of the Standard Setting Committee of the International Construction Management Standard (ICMS)
Sr Dainna earned her BSc Quantity Surveying from Newcastle Upon Tyne Polythechnic, UK in 1989. As a quantity surveyor she has vast experience working locally and also internationally in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and Bangladesh.
Deputy Director of Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies, National University of Singapore
Dr Lee is the Deputy Director of Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies, National University of Singapore. In his current role, Dr Lee develops and executes the business strategy for the institute’s industry outreach, seeking collaboration opportunities with different stakeholders in the real estate industry. Besides business development, he is also involved in the institute’s research initiatives in housing policy, food security and climate change. He also actively contributes to commentaries in both digital and print media. Prior to joining IREUS, he headed the research departments in Knight Frank Singapore and Edmund Tie & Company.

The winners will be revealed via video announcement on LinkedIn during the Awards Winners Announcements Week from 10 - 14 October 2022.
Following the announcements week, we are hopeful that we might be able to hold a celebratory in-person function to get together, catch-up and congratulate the winners and finalists locally. Details of this will be released closer to and will be dependent upon circumstances within the region at the time.

Young Achiever of the Year |
The future of our profession rests on the shoulders of emerging professionals. The Young Achiever of the Year Award acknowledges one outstanding individual who has achieved excellence in their chosen field. The individual selected will embody the highest standards of professionalism, be a role-model for their peers and be capable of making an outstanding contribution to the profession in the course of their future career. The individual must be 35 years old or younger during the 2021 calendar year (i.e. he/she must be born on or after 1 January 1986). |

Lifetime Achiever Award |
